TYSON CHANDLER AND AMAR’E STOUDEMIRE SHOULD HAVE A HUGE YEAR 🏀🏀🏀
The New York Knicks will definitely need a huge year from Tyson Chandler and Amar’e Stoudemire both had a frustrating previous season, they were hunted by injuries. Amar’e had knee surgery, that kept him out for an extended period of time, he did manage to return back late in the season, but was under minutes restrictions and really didn’t get any type of playing time in the playoffs. Stat definitely wanted to be on the floor and try to help the club out in any type of way. But Coach Woodson decided not to go with him, Amar’e was not happy. Tyson Chandler was dealing with an knee injury around mid-season and late in the season was also dealing with another injury, that was much more severe, a bulging disc, that kept him sideline and to make things worse on top of that, he was also dealing with a virus, It caused him to lose about 25 pounds, but he did manage to return back to the starting lineup for the playoffs, but wasn’t himself and when he was most needed, in the second round of the playoffs against the Pacers. He was not a factor, never gave the Knicks that defensive presence in the paint, never gave the team that help on the boards, I’m definitely not blaming it all on Chandler for the Knicks getting out-rebounded for the entire series. But The Knicks must cut-down on Chandlers minutes this season. The good news for the Knicks is, both players are feeling great, they are healthy and haven’t had any setbacks this offseason. The Knicks are hopeful that Stoudemire and Chandler can manage to stay healthy this season. The team’s bench is definitely deep in the frontcourt, but these are two proven All-Star players that will make a huge difference if they could manage to stay on the floor.
